Big announcement.

After wearing glasses and contacts for 18 years (that’s right– 18 YEARS), I finally did what I’ve been saying I would do for literally as long as I can remember.

And it feels really great.

I had laser eye surgery yesterday, my eyeballs are a little bit sore and watery but for the most part, I’m feeling good. So far the post-op is better than what I was expecting, because you hope for the best, yet prepare for the worst, right? I think it’s probably got something to do with a little pill called OxyCodone!

But so far, so good. It really is life changing, like everyone says.

I’m retiring my glasses for the time being, but I might try to see if Warby Parker can convert these to normal sunglasses for me, because I’m already getting sentimental about them!
