Biscayne Times Tuna Salad Sandwich, from THE DAILY, in Miami, FL.

If you’re seeing a pattern here, you’re not wrong. I do post frequently about the foods I enjoy. And I do REALLY enjoy food. But this tuna sandwich is it for me, and I mean it. Firstly, tuna is a big comfort food for me. I’m a sucker for a tuna sandwich. I remember breaking my wrist when I was a kid, and getting home from the hospital in the middle of the night, all I wanted was a tuna sandwich.

Anyway — I don’t know what it is about this particular sandwich, but it is HEAVEN. The combination of the ingredients is something fierce. According to their menu, it’s tuna salad, hummus, cucumbers, arugula, roasted peppers, sprouts, on multigrain bread.

Maybe it’s the hummus or the sprouts. Maybe it’s the cranberries or something tart but sweet in their tuna salad. Maybe it’s the fancy diagonal cut of the bread. (Fancy!)

Whatever it is, this sandwich is simply THE BEST TUNA SANDWICH EVER. PERIOD.

So much so that I had to write an entire post about how much I love it.
